Who we are
This website (goodbyescope3.com) is operated by the founders of GoodByeScope3, Samira Richardson and Viktor Martinović, based in the United Kingdom. We are jointly responsible for the personal data collected through this site (the “data controllers” under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR).
GoodByeScope3 is not yet an incorporated company. Once we incorporate, this notice will be updated with the company name, registered office and registration number.

What we collect, and why
We only collect the personal data you actively give us:
- Newsletter signup — your email address. We use it solely to send you occasional progress updates. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Contact form — your name, email address and message. We use these only to read and reply to your enquiry. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
- Technical logs — when you visit, our hosting provider automatically processes data such as your IP address and browser information to deliver the site securely. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure, functioning website.
We do not use analytics or advertising trackers, and we do not use cookies for tracking.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your data. We share it only with the service providers that make this site work, acting on our behalf:
- Cloudflare, Inc. — website hosting and content delivery (processes technical/log data).
- Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.) — delivers the email notifications generated by the newsletter and contact forms.
These providers are based in the United States, so your data may be transferred outside the UK/EU. Such transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards (for example the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses).
How long we keep it
We keep newsletter subscriptions until you unsubscribe, and contact messages for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and our records. You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email us at hello@goodbyescope3.com.
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the unsubscribe option or by emailing us.
If you believe we have mishandled your data, you have the right to complain to a data protection authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO); in Austria, the Datenschutzbehörde.
