Today we’re flipping the switch on this journal. From here on out, we’ll be sharing the real, unpolished story of building GoodByeScope3 — the good, the hard, and the genuinely uncertain.

Why we exist

For most companies, the overwhelming majority of carbon emissions don’t come from their offices or their electricity bill. They come from Scope 3: the suppliers, the shipping, the materials, the way products get used and thrown away. It’s the biggest slice of the pie — and the one almost nobody has under control.

We think that’s the single highest-leverage problem in corporate climate action, and we’re building software to crack it.
